Maudenia “Denia” Wooten, 92, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away November 16, 2024, surrounded by her family who loved and adored her.
Mrs. Wooten was born November 15, 1932 in Ullin, Illinois.
Denia loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. “It’s all about Jesus, not me!” Her favorite Bible verse: lI Timothy 1:7 all about God’s power; favorite Bible chapter: Philippians 4 all about joy; favorite Bible book: I John all about God’s love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward P. Wooten and many other loved ones.
Survivors include three daughters, Elaine Knight, Denise Wooten-Marshall, and Cindy Chuning and their families; one son, Vance Wooten and his family; one brother, Albert Burrow; and many other family members.
Funeral, memorial and graveside services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Providence Baptist Church, 12206 N. Stark Rd, KCMO. Visitation will be held 11 a.m. at the same location. Memorial contributions are suggested to Providence Baptist Church for Lottie Moon Christmas offering (supporting foreign missions).
