Sandra Lee Teegarden

Sandra Lee Teegarden

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Lee Teegarden on November 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Sandy was born March 30, 1941 in Richmond, MO, to parents Stanley and Emma Lana.

Sandy married the love of her life of 45 years, Truman Teegarden, on September 10, 1960.  Sandy was known to all as Grandma. A devoted, hardworking Mother and Grandmother who dedicated her life to her family with unwavering love. She worked many jobs while rearing her children and grandchildren whom of all truly adored her.

She proved to be a fine example of how we each should live. She spent life unselfishly providing for and taking care of her family. Her sense of humor, feistiness, vast wisdom and loving nature will be forever missed.

Sandy is survived by her children, David Teegarden, Ferrill Teegarden, Rex Teegarden, Kyanna (Teegarden) Roberts and husband Dave Roberts, and Cindy Teegarden; as well as her grandchildren, Kyle Teegarden, Brianna Teegarden, Michael Teegarden, Kelly Teegarden, Derek Teegarden, Deven Vantrease, Danelle Troncin, Tara Eslinger, Scotty Teegarden, Travis and Cara Wood, Tyler Wood, Trent and Tana Goins, Kruz Roberts, Mckenzie Robbins, Blaz Roller, Ryan Teegarden and Preston Sloan. She had 30 great grandchildren, some of her closest babies. Sandy leaves behind three sisters and one brother, Shirley Brewer of Excelsior Springs, MO, and Peggy Mcgregor of Orrick, MO, Nancy Teegarden Lowe of Cameron, MO, and Tommy Teegarden of Excelsior Springs, MO.

She is proceeded In death by her husband, Truman, her parents and her siblings.

Sandy was a beacon of kindness, strength, and love and will continue to live on in the hearts of those who cherished her. It was Sandy’s wish for her loved ones to remember the good times and celebrate the love she had for each one of them, because of that the family has chosen to have a Celebration of Life gathering at a later date as they deal with the initial grief of losing such a wonderful soul.

Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
