James Daniel Smith, 68, passed away at his home in Excelsior Springs, MO, on November 17, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Daniel Smith; mother, Leona May Fisher; and brother, Thomas Pierce.
Jimmy is survived by his sisters, Doris Hardie, Norma Smith, and Donna Bass (Donald); brother, Herbert Dover; three nieces and four nephews.
Jimmy worked in the medical field all of his career. He loved collecting coins, vintage glassware, and was an avid animal lover. Jimmy was very sociable and very respectful toward everyone. Jimmy will be greatly missed and always loved by his family.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2024 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs MO.
Arrangements are in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
