Jeffrey Dean Carder

Jeffrey Carder

Jeffrey Dean Carder, 42, of Thibodaux, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. He was born August 8, 1983, to Dan and Diane Carder. Jeff grew up in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 2002. He attended CMSU at Warrensburg, MO.

Jeff loved spending time with his family and friends playing cards and being outdoors. He enjoyed being with “Mama” (Diane) doing various activities and with “Pops” (Dan) in the boundary waters. Also, he looked forward each year to hunting in Missouri with his dad, uncle, grandpas and later with his Aunt Deane. He attended boy scout camp at Philmont and earned his Eagle Scout Award. He enjoyed participating in Civil War Reenactments with his parents and friends in Elliott Scouts. He was a great cook, and loved cooking for his friends and family.

He served in the United States Army from 2006-2015. He was stationed in Germany in the Military Police during his two tours there. Also, while there he was put on assignment to be part of a detail helping to oversee the President’s visit to Africa. He was deployed to Iraq and Korea as well.

He had worked as a Project Manager-Industrial Fluid Management at Gaubert Oil Company in Louisiana doing industrial chemical cleaning. Previously, he worked as Technician and then advanced to Assistant Division Manager for PetrolinkUSA in Texas.

He put his whole heart into whatever he attempted to do whether it was work or fun; it was total dedication.

Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Dan and Diane Carder; his aunts and uncles, Dale Carder (Barb), Deane (Carder) Schirmer, and Henry (Butch) Bausch; many cousins; and special friends in Louisiana.

A celebration of life will be held on May 30, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Montgomery Event Venue in Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

Our Sincere Condolences

I am so sorry for your loss! May God’s grace shine upon the two of you and the rest of Jeff’s family.
