Arturo "Art" Martinez
Arturo “Art” Ernesto Martinez, 55, died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Truman Medical Center. Mr. Martinez was born and raise in New Mexico, and moved to Missouri 24 years ago. He worked in the vending business.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Joni; four children, Julianne, Colorado, and Andrea, Amy and A.J., all of the home; his parents, Elautirio and Crucita Martinez; brothers, Pete and Moises; sisters, Dorothy and Charlotte; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17, at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney. Memorial contributions may be made to the DAV or the American Heart Association.
