Our Sincere Condolences
My sincere condolences are with this wonderful man's family. I knew him only one year. I'm an employee of Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center, and ever since we "unofficially" met, he's been a joy. My sister and I (who also works at the Health Center) make a request for "Big Red" soda pop, and Art made sure we had entire row of it. (smile)
I would watch him speak Spanish to the children who came to the vending machines. He always made them smile.
When I heard of Art's transition, the first thing that came to my mind was my hopes that I said or did something to make his job just a little bit pleasant. I know he made my encounters with him very, very nice!
God bless his family very much, and may the peace and comfort of God rest upon them all!
