I am grateful for the life of Mr. Macy. Thanks to his service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

I am going to miss having Little Uncle Bert in this world. My memories of him are mostly of Long Ago. It was always a joy to visit with him. Take Care and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, all of his family.

We will fondly remember Bert for his great wit and generosity. We were proud to call him our friend. That smile was so contagious!! May he rest in peace!

Dear Stacy, Herbert, Jim, Ginny, Family and Friends,
I am someone from long ago and far away. Bert was a former neighbor, a classmate and friend in a small town in New York. He contacted me, via social media, last year after a 47 year pause. Our paths diverged but it brought a smile to see his life in Lawson was a seemingly happy and active one - a beautiful wife, a lovely family, homestead and many friends. I am therefore saddened to have received news of his sudden death. You are in my thoughts today.
With deepest sympathy,
Judy Pollock Hallam
