Our Sincere Condolences
I began my education career as a speech therapist in 1981 in the Excelsior Springs School District. Robert was one of my first assistant superintendents and I still remember him on the day of my first interview. Later, when I was an assistant superintendent myself for the ESSD, I worked with him through OPAA! Robert was a wonderful and kind man. He will be missed greatly by his family and the Excelsior Springs community. I feel blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

News of Robert's passing came as a very big shock. He made our high school experience more than it would have otherwise been. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate what was a life well lived and which no doubt touched many in very special ways.
