Adele, Debbie, and Ed,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Ruth was a very special woman. She helped me to become who I am today. Ruth was a true friend to my family and will be missed dearly by each of us. I will always remember her kindness, laugh, and encouraging words. My childhood memories are of her being my "baby-sitter" and having the best house in Kearney (right across from the Kearney swimming pool and tennis court).
My adult memories are of Ruth involving me with the Clay County election board. One of the reasons I looked forward to voting at elections was to see Ruth. I am also the grateful recipient of her quilts. I will always hold her memory dear to my heart. My heart is with you in your time of loss.
Linda

Dear family: Your mom was a lovely, gentle, and funny lady who was a treasure to know. She is happy with Harlow now so do not grieve too much for her. Grieve for your loss, which is immense, but try to temper it with the wonderful memories she left you.
Much love to all, Karen

I'm going to miss her. She always talked about "what's her name". "You know who I mean". We always went to the "tea" at Mount Gilead.

I can't say that I'm sorry that your mom and my aunt lived such a great life and had so many memories .
I will always remember going out to the house and serve water when I was a kid and your mother calling me Dale Albert. it makes me laugh. Because I hated it.
I hope it gives you comfort that she's with uncle Harlow and Albert and Nancy.
You guys are so lucky to have both of your parents for so long.
Call my thoughts,
your cousin Dale
