Terri Yvonne Smith

Terri Yvonne Smith passed away on March 20, 2022 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo., from cancer.

Terri was born to the union of Theodore Rufenacht and Dixie (Musbach) Rufenacht on September 11, 1954 in Ransom, Kans. Terri also had a sister, Karla (Rufenacht) Richman of Stover, Mo.

Terri Was married to Farell Adams who passed during the marriage.

Terri later on was joined in marriage to Robert R. Smith on August 19, 1988. To the marriage, one son was born, Craig Allen Smith on December 16, 1988.

Terri worked for KFC for 28 years and gained shift leader during her employment. She retired in 2021 from KFC. Terri was referred to as “Bear” as she was seen as the mama bear for everyone. Terri was a member of the Red Hats Society and enjoyed many trips and activities with the members. Terri attended the Assembly of God Church in Lawson, Mo., for many years and was active in the women’s church group. Terri and Craig recently joined Browning Baptist Church in Turney, Mo. Terri enjoyed seeing her son baptized after joining Browning Baptist and watching his faith bloom.

Terri was proceeded in death by her parents, Theodore and Dixie Rufenacht, and her first husband, Farell Adams.

She is survived by her son, Craig Allen Smith; her sister, Karla Richman; and several cousins.
A memorial will be planned in the future. Any contributions to assist with her cremation and services can be made to Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Terri Smith’s name.
