Sharon Sims, 89, Lawson, MO, passed away September 4, 2023 at her home.
Sharon was born on May 13, 1934 in Bosman, Montana, to Stacy and Helen P. (Kinyon) Clayton, the oldest of 11 children. She married Dwight Ray Larrimore in 1960 for 16 years until his passing. She married Wallace R. Sims in 1978. She worked for Lawson Schools as a head cook for 18 years before her retirement. She then started working in the auction business opening her own concession food stand and was known for her famous brownies. She loved cooking, baking and flowers. She was a member of Vibbard Christian Union Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brothers, Larry Clayton, Duane Clayton, and Ronald Clayton; and grandsons, Riley and Michael.
She is survived by four brothers; three sisters; six children; 13 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. with service following at Vibbard Christian Union Church. Inurnment at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, at a later date.
