Dan Bullion, 84, a longtime resident of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away August 20, 2023, in Olathe, Kansas, after a long illness.
Dan was a mechanic at Missouri Beef (Excel) in Hereford, Texas, in the 60s and early 70s and then Chapparel Harley Davidson until they closed in the 80s. He then worked at the GM dealership until his retirement in 2006. He spent his 17 years of retirement living in Belen, New Mexico, and in the Kansas City area with his daughter and son-in-law. For many of those years, he did stain glass art with his daughter and watched Kansas City Royals and Chiefs games either on TV or at the stadium. When not doing those things, he was playing solitaire or trivia games on his computer.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Georgia Bullion; and brothers, Joe Bullion of Moriarty, New Mexico, and Tom Bullion of Clovis, New Mexico.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Fred LeBlanc of Kansas City, Missouri; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Keith Curry of Lufin, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Karen Bullion of Sarasota, Florida; a grandcat, Max, and a granddog, Bubba.
