Harlan D. Hilsabeck, 87, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed away peacefully at his home in Excelsior Springs, MO, on Friday, December 8, 2023 with his wife and niece, Loretta by his side.
At the age of 17, Harlan enlisted in the United States Navy. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Senior Chief. Harlan retired from the United States Navy in 1975 and the University of Texas in 1998.
Harlan is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; son, David Hilsabeck; and daughter, Jay Winchester.
Harlan is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Kim Harris of Oklahoma; daughter, Dee Swenson of Texas; son, Darin of Florida; son, Clay Hisabeck; and numerous grandchildren.
