Heaven Just Got A Little Sweeter
On March 4, 2025 Jesus opened His loving arms and welcomed a special man into Heaven, David Sims. He was 73 years old.
Please remember David for the way he lived his life with kindness and compassion. He had an amazing impact on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Proceeding him in death was his mom, Ruth Sims; dad, Louis Sims; father-in-law, Ed Asberry; brother-in-law, Randy Asberry; and his infant niece, Angela Asberry.
David will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, Darla Sims; daughter, Angela Siegel and son-in-law Matt Siegel; daughter, Mindy Knutter and son-in-law Ed Knutter; grandkids, Garrett Siegel (Havannah), Owen Siegel, Laura Siegel, Chloe Knutter (Kooper Kelly) and Carter Knutter; brother, Kenny Sims and sister-in-law Glenda Sims; mother-in-law, Sondra Asberry; sister-in-law, Kristin Peterson (John); sister-in-law, Judy Doman; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family requests a private service to honor David.
