She grew up in Sheldon, Mo., and graduated from Sheldon High School.  As an adult, she had several career changes, from EMT, to owning her own daycare, to homemaker and eventually settling on moving to Richmond, Mo., where she helped her two daughters with childcare for three grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.

Connie is survived by her twin daughters, Shannon Braley and Sharron (Jacob) Smith and her grandchildren Auren Smith, Raigan Braley and Everlyn Smith.

Throughout her life she was blessed to be called Mom, “Momma Connie” and Grandma “Mam Ma” by stepchildren Jarrod, Amanda, Dennis and Bob, along with several friends of her daughters whom she welcomed into her heart and home, and all the grandchildren that came with them.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Ira and Helen (Riddle) Harman and her cousins, Terri Chadd and Travis Denney, along with several Aunts, Uncles, friends and family.

Arrangements in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.

Our Sincere Condolences

My last memory of Connie was taking her food last November. Throughout my time of knowing her, I remember taking her shopping or to the doctor’s. I recall many Sundays talking with her in the foyer or nursery as my kids played with her grandson. I know she sure loved her girls and grands. May God give you peace knowing your good hearted momma has found rest, free from all pain.
